New York Farm Bureau members were back at the Capitol advocating for agriculture on February 9th and 10th 2026.
During this year’s Lobby Day, around 200 members held over 200 meetings with legislators to discuss key issues facing New York farmers. The day also included a press conference on the Capitol staircase, reinforcing agriculture’s message.
Strong representation in Albany is why NYFB membership matters!

New York Farm Bureau Priority List 2026 page 42 under Dairy Industry No. 21. Allowing raw milk sales at farmers markets and delivery by the permitted farmers within 20 miles of the farm and the milk has to be bottled within 72 hours.
